• Due to anticipated severe weather conditions, The New School’s NYC campus will be closed Sunday, January 25, 2026. All administrative offices will be closed, however any function that has been designated as essential to the continued and safe operation of the campus will be required to report to work as normal. 

    All classes, activities, and meetings have been canceled. Residence Halls will remain open for students. The public areas of the University Center will be open Sunday from 7:30am to 12:00am for those seeking shelter from the storm. 

    A decision about Monday’s campus operations will be communicated on Sunday afternoon.

    We encourage our community to use care when traveling.
