    Alyssa is deeply committed to expanding access to higher education for the diverse student community that includes access to experiential learning opportunities through her role as internship coordinator.  She brings a student-centered approach to her work in career services and continues to mentor students from her home school district, reflecting her long-standing commitment to educational equity. Alyssa holds a BA in Communications from Adelphi University.

    Jennifer (she/her) is a senior higher education leader with expertise in career development, student success, and strategic, inclusive program design. Before joining The New School, she served as the director of the STEM Diversity Institute at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she led initiatives to expand access and improve academic outcomes. Jennifer is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), the Career Collective, and the Graduate Career Consortium. She undertook advanced doctoral study in comparative European history at Brandeis University, with additional academic study in France and Canada.

    Hope has more than a decade of experience helping graduate students and alumni across of New School graduate programs. Connecting with students individually and in workshops, she addresses topics ranging from job search strategy and career assessment to interviewing, salary negotiation, personal branding, and using LinkedIn. Before becoming a career counselor, Hope worked briefly in television news, PR, law, and secondary education. Hope has lived and worked in Tokyo; Washington, DC; and New York. She holds a master's degree in group work from Hunter College School of Social Work, a master’s degree in East Asian languages and literature from Columbia University, and an undergraduate degree in comparative Japanese literature from Brown University.

    Nicole has more than eight years of experience helping college students from all cultural, social, and linguistic backgrounds reach their academic and professional goals. Originally from Italy, Nicole came to the United States for her graduate studies. She received her PhD in Comparative Literature from The Graduate Center, CUNY, in February 2022 and has been teaching at various universities in the NYC metropolitan area.

    Marion Sadavoy, CPRW, is a career services professional and certified résumé writer who specializes in serving students in the creative arts. Before working in higher education, Marion enjoyed a career in sales, marketing, and recruiting. She gained extensive experience in those areas while working for major Canadian retailers and a large marketing firm in Toronto.
