Guaranteed Admission Program

Apply through the Common App and submit all application requirements, including the required essays, two letters of recommendation, and your high school transcript by Lang’s first-year regular decision deadline, January 15, 2025. No additional application materials are required for guaranteed admission. Admission offers will be released on a rolling basis as applications are received. Do you attend a high school in the United States and have a cumulative unweighted GPA of at least 3.6 (90 percent on a 100-point scale) or rank in the top 10 percent of your graduating class? If so, you qualify for Lang’s guaranteed admission!

Lang uses unweighted GPAs on a 4.0 scale.

Yes! All applicants who rank in the top 10 percent of their class or have an unweighted GPA of at least 3.6 will receive a merit scholarship. Scholarships typically range between $10,000 and $20,000.

No; the guaranteed admission program is only for students applying to Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts.

At this time, guaranteed admission is available only to first-year domestic applicants who will graduate or have graduated from a high school in the United States.

Students offered guaranteed admission to Lang for fall 2025 must demonstrate satisfactory completion of in-progress coursework, graduate from high school, and have disciplinary records that do not reveal behavior contrary to the university’s mission and values or in violation of New School policies.
