The Office of Student Leadership and Involvement provides several opportunities for leadership development. Our primary objective is to prepare and empower students to be effective leaders and active citizens by presenting leadership opportunities, referrals,
and workshops, both on and off campus. In addition to providing these resources, we serve as a central source for leadership opportunities offered throughout the university. For more information about student leadership, please email [email protected].
University Student Senate
The >University Student Senate (USS) is a self-governing body comprised of student representatives that unifies the voices of New School students. They work to enhance the student experience by fostering a sense
of belonging through advocacy and engagement. The Office of Student Leadership, Involvement, and Transition Experiences provides advisement for the USS as they represent students within the larger framework of University Leadership.
Student Activities Board
The Student Activities Board (SAB) seeks to break down barriers between the schools within The New School to create a more unified student body. We hope to do this through supporting and
producing student-generated events. Through our committees and members' efforts, we try to provide expertise and resources to students to help streamline the processes needed to provide a variety of educational and entertaining programs. If you are
interested in participating, please refer to the provided contact information and email us for more information!
